Riding Lessons

Beginning Riding Lessons

The emphasis of our beginning/recreational lesson program is to provide a detail-oriented lesson with an emphasis on safety.

These lessons are designed for students with limited horse knowledge who want a fun, safe, and educational riding experience. Students will learn the basics of English/Hunt Seat Equitation, which will include walk, trot, canter, and two point at both trot and canter. Once students have a solid grasp of the basics, they will start to learn how to trot and canter single jumps, poles on the ground, and much more.

Intermediate/Advanced Riding Lessons

The emphasis of our lesson program is to build further off of techniques learned in our beginning/recreational lesson program and progress towards jumping a full course.

Students will advance their knowledge of English/Hunt Seat Equitation, which will include various advanced flat work exercises including but not limited to: practicing shoulder-in, haunches-in, leg-yielding, etc. These lessons are designed for students ready to canter lines and small courses including gates, boxes, verticals, oxers, and lead changes.

All lessons are approx 45 mins in length. We teach both private and semi-private lessons depending on a clients experience level and whether there are any other clients wanting to ride at the same time who are of similar experience levels. The costs are the same, however a private lesson will usually be a little bit shorter and a group lesson will take longer.
